I was thinking about this the other day again.

Are there any (8bit based) editors for other platforms ?

By this I mean the CPC/C64/BBC ranges of these games ?

Surprised there is nothing for the AMS CPC range actually as the game code is not very far off the Spectrum version really all in all...

I've never heard of any, but then I was never really particularly interested in other platforms.

I’m hoping to lay some groundwork by documenting the data format for the MSX and Tatung Einstein versions when I get time. Might be a while, though.

They do seem elusive as they are not easy to find I guess  In that until you posted I had no idea about that at all.

Cool! Is there a disk image of this on the net that we can play with?

It seems Dragon disks use MFM so should be dumpable with a PC (although admittedly an old one) with the right software.

The floppy formats seem to be the same as those used for the PC, so perhaps these will work in some USB floppy drives, although I won’t be surprised if some of these only work with 1440K (2×18×80×512) disks.

I don't have a clue! :)

But I can ask a friend of mine, he's very good about transfer stuff from "one side" to another! :)
