Welcome. :)

The MM game is based on the Spectrum version, it appears not far off (the graphics are the same as are the layouts it seems) the movement of Miner Willy is different however (too many leg steps) and the jump routine is not quite the same, the jump routine is similar to the C64 version of JSW actually from what I can tell, it has a 'floating' feeling. :D

The JSW game appears to be something new rather than based on the original. :) It shares the 'floating' jump effect too.

Changing order to chaos since 1984

Welcome to this forum, NickTheGreek  :) .

The JSW game is Michael Tuohy's "Jet Set Willy - New Adventures In Sci Fi", a brand-new game inspired by JSW.

The game was advertised on Manic Miner & Jet Set Willy Yahoo! Group back in 2003 (message #3620) and its author posted there about some problems concerning the game's speed (message #3771). Andrew Broad declared that he "didn't like the shape of the jump".

The remnants of the original homepage can be seen on the Wayback Machine.
