This is an original disk and tape image. The tape is a .tzx file (can be renamed to .cdt if required) and is Speedlock protected. The game closely follows the Spectrum version and plays just as well. The 'in game' tune is different but the game play is much the same. The scrolling message reads as follows: © 1985 SOFTWARE PROJECTS . . . - JET SET WILLY - . . . . . . . Control keys are :- LEFT=Q,E,T,U,O; RIGHT=W,R,Y,I,P; JUMP= TO (bottom row) + ; PAUSE=A to H; TUNE ON/OFF=J to ; Also use cursor keys for LEFT/RIGHT, up arrow or to JUMP; Supports Joysticks on port#0; Press to ABORT the game! . . . . .original concept by Mathew-JET-SET-Smith. . . . . . . . . . . . . . Spider Posted October 21, 2017 Author Report Share Posted October 21, 2017 One slightly interesting thing I have only really just noted is the 'sloped roof' in 'Halfway up the East Wall' is not set as an active ramp, he can freely stand and move on it without fear of being thrown off the end. Spider Posted September 14, 2018 Author Report Share Posted September 14, 2018 (edited) Update: The 'slightly difficult to find' tape version of the above (as most 'tape' versions despite their branding are actually 'Final Frontier' aka JSW2) has been found and added as a new .zip alongside the original disk .zip too. :) The tape is original (SPL protection) from the compilation release version*. It is fully compatible with the CPC464 , 664 and 6128. * The release version does not have keypad entry, this is not a modification, it is by design.
