That's not really a bug... quoting from the game's text file:

Quote

'C' lets you enter 'Madness' mode in which all the floors sink as
    you walk on them. Try it, see how many objects you can get!

So yeah, that's not a bug, that's a feature :P although personally it almost never seems to work for me, at least in v1.01a...

i ripped the music from this version (the MS-DOS version, not the windows re-release) some few weeks ago

it turns out that JSW-DAT2.DAT is actually an .xm (extended module) file in disguise containing every single song in the game, which i then cut up into individual files (like 33 total songs including 7 unused ones and 2 from craig r.'s jsw remake which were uncut versions of 2 in-game songs)
