    Maps

Good job on these ,we probably know the layout and what rooms we are approaching like the back of our hands but it is always interesting to look at the maps in their entirety

    JSW 2 Amiga

What was peoples opinions of this version back then,I remember being surprised to see it on the Amiga but not really being that impressed. I think it just looked so different to what I was used too, nothing wrong with the graphical improvements and it was expected but it just was not JSW as I knew it. Did anybody complete it? https://youtu.be/7YXFt-nMh7M
  3. I have some files that are supposed to be makes of both games for the ZX81,I have examined the files and try to run them in `eightyone` emu but they are not supported files - Has anybody tried these creations before? http://www.jammajup.co.uk/forums/zx81-jsw-mm.gif
  4. 25 Anybody else tried this version of Manic Miner , Matthew Holt (Revelation Software) programmed this 1992 verison for the Sam Coupe computer. I have just had a quick go using emulation and it aint bad at all, only played to second screen and it feels a little more difficult than the 8-bit versions but the second screen looks a lot different so I will keep playing when I have more time. http://www.jammajup.co.uk/forums/manic-miner-same-coupe.gif http://www.jammajup.co.uk/forums/manic-miner-same-coupe-b.gif
  5. Hi Spider I prefer to play the cassette version ,I did find a cracked version on disk even selecting to keep hazards on it makes you invincible regardless which is not what I wanted. So I will use your file and play tape file Thanks 14 20
  6. 17 Hi Peeps I have the Dragon 32 version on emulation but it is asking for the code, does anyone have a scan of the code sheet or is there a cracked version of JSW on the Dragon?
  7. Played the msx version for the first time this morning,it is okay to be honest although slightly slower than the speccy verison and a little clunky (not smooth),I did notice a few different things as I explored such as there being no flash function on the scenery unless I was mistaken.
  8. Just browsing the many forums I am a member of and came across this thread on Lemon64 for online JSW multuiplayer, has anyone downloaded and tried this yet it looks fun? Here is the thread http://www.lemon64.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=51817
  9. Thanks John There is quite a lot too take in there, with the disassembly thread as well I have a lot to look through over the next weeks and months , I have been slowly chipping away at a game using AGD but keep getting the urge to make another JSWed game,it was just so much easier lol
  10. For anybody interested in the inner workings of the code to jsw or has an interest in assembly this may useful. Wos member 'skoolkid' has dissembled the code and posted the link. I have had a quick look and it is of great interest to me but I have little time to analyze it at the moment. The link is here - http://pyskool.ca/disassemblies/jet_set_willy/

  12. So now we have CHuckie Egg prints on offer but have you seen the price... :o ? http://www.elite-systems.co.uk/elite/htdocs/ltdeditionart_ChuckieEgg.php
  13. Have you ever considered playing, reviewing or/and archiving every single editor game? ,that is every remake, rehash or even games where they just change Miner Willy`s hat lol. There must be hundreds  , apparently there was a Yahoo news group on just JSWed remakes but I have never looked for it , apparently it was a good source of files and info. Personally I only started playing around with the editor a few years ago which is still probably five years behind everyone else.
  14. No, because I would have to take it out cellophane protection . In fact i still keep it in the rigid card envelope it arrived in through the letterbox.
