Jamie Howard got a reaction from Spider in Manic Miner Redux
my Chuckie Egg port is coming along nicely. I have all the levels and it's quite playable already. Just need to give it some front end and some fancy scene transitions. I am tempted to export all the levels to text files and allow custom levels to be built easily like you have as that's such a nice touch

I found a bug - on level "Wibble Flowerpot" if you immediately jump left and keep walking, you can walk straight through the first yellow dancing flower.
I'm really interested to hear more about how you put this together - check your Mastadon - I've been messaging you - although more than happy to message here instead. Really cracking port and I particularly like the endless lives, timer and configuration options. You've really added to the replay-ability of the game. Something I'm hoping to do with Chuckie Egg.

Hey - I've been working on a Chuckie Egg Godot version to practice a bit of platforming skills - would be interesting to compare notes - are you on mastodon? I'm there on Jamie Howard@algorithmic@mastodonapp.uk
I come from a Gamemaker background and find Godot quite refreshing (and fast) I'm totally new to it so feeling my way. I've got 4 levels of the MSX Chuckie Egg working with fairly accurate (but not entirely) mechanics.
