Dumb Waiter
Have you ever considered playing, reviewing or/and archiving every single editor game? ,that is every remake, rehash or even games where they just change Miner Willy`s hat lol. There must be hundreds  , apparently there was a Yahoo news group on just JSWed remakes but I have never looked for it , apparently it was a good source of files and info. Personally I only started playing around with the editor a few years ago which is still probably five years behind everyone else.

WOS would be an excellent place to research for this (spectrum versions at least) I'm not aware of edited games for other platforms however. JohnElliott
Andrew Broad used to maintain such a list. Here's a copy archived from when it was hosted on GeoCities: http://www.oocities.org/andrewbroad/spectrum/willy/list.html The Yahoo group is https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/manicminerandjetsetwilly/info Spider

There is the old MM+JSW Yahoo Group at https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/manicminerandjetsetwilly/info but it hasn't had any posts in a couple of years, and none since Yahoo killed the usability. Yahoo has been hemmoraging groups since they went out of their way to make it as unusable as possible. Spider

I've not really been a great fan of newsgroups in general, I've not looked at their setup I may take a gander at it now out of curiousity and compare it to others etc. The only issue I tend to have with 'hosted' things is the potential for loss of data and companies usual policies of not providing you with a backup (in most cases)
jetsetdanny
Hello Everyone, First of all, it is thrilling to find this community on the Web! I think this site was down at some point a week or two ago, but when I revisited it a few minutes ago and saw it worked, I joined immediately! I have just launched a new MM/JSW website at www.jswcentral.org. An updated list of MM and JSW games (using the list created by Andrew Broad, which was last updated in May 2009) is there. I plan to keep it up to date, so if anything is missing, please let me know (see Contact section for e-mail address). Also, I will appreciate any other comments and feedback on JSW Central's content. I will add a link to this community on my website before the weekend is over. Daniel Spider and 1024MAK
Spider
Welcome Daniel :) Thank you for your kind comments, appreciated. I started this site (I had planned it for a year or two before) due to the occasional difficulty in finding JSW/MM specific resources and some sites not being available anymore, thankfully there's the WayBackMachine although not ideal. You're welcome to add a link to your site in the Site Links section, that's what its for so we can easily find other sites on the same subjects. A moderator will check/approve links after a short time (that forum is on mod queue simply to avoid off topic links etc) If you want you could add a link to this site on your 'Links' section too. jetsetdanny
jetsetdanny
Thank you for the welcome :) . I have just posted a message in the Site Links section with an announcement of JSW Central. I have also posted a message on the Yahoo! MM/JSW Group to make the people there aware of the existence of this site. Surprisingly, it has not been mentioned over there before. Approved your listing, thank you for submitting. I hope you don't mind but I edited it a fraction as you did not have the link in it just the text, so I've made it a link for convenience. :) I'll admit I've not really advertised this board apart from a link in my signature on the World Of Spectrum forum and on the Stardot forum (Acorn/BBC Machines) , its greatly appreciated you've mentioned it on the Yahoo group, I had completely forgotten about that although if I joined and just submitted a link it would not seem a bit rude I think better it comes from someone who's already an existing member such as yourself. :)
