Hi All, 

Here's a update. Movement totally re-written to match original, 17 levels completed, 3 to go, including the solar power generator that'll need some special coding.

After this is done, a whole set of new levels with the same engine. I have some ideas...

Hi All,

I think it's done, please goto the download page on this forum.

I've also added support for the original cheat code (6031769), after entering you will have unlimited lives and you can jump screens by pressing f1 and f2 (press esc to go to the title menu).

For someone who is new to GM2, you've done a fantastic job! I did not really see any problems with the mechanics, except maybe the collision detection is a little off. I could not get the 6031769 to activate. Only thing I missed was using Spacebar for jump 👍

Thanks, yes the collision isn't quite the same, I may tweak it a little. The original had some clever code to do pixel perfect collisions! I will add the space bar as a jump!

BTW 6031769 should work OK, did you type it in a number at a time?

Yes. I tried again and it works if you type it in first thing, but if you move Willy around and then try it does not accept it.
