  5. POKE 42438,180 (or POKE 42432,180 if you prefer) will make The Beach have two separate items, just as in the MSX version (and presumably the Tatung Einstein version).
  6. The MSX version state
  7. Besides that, the official SP fix for the Banyan Tree, POKE 56876,4 seems to be the fix that has been used for the Einstein port. I
  8. A fix that makes the Swimming Pool item collectable on the Spectrum: POKE 57248,5 To alter the ramp colour in Swimming Pool to that in the Einstein port, although this does result in awful colour clash: POKE 57257,47 POKE 57284,41 I

  10. Other differences spotted in the screenshots: The leftmost conveyor block on the Conservatory Roof has been replaced with platform, the platform block beneath that with sky, and the platform has been further extended another block to the left, most likely making it possible to complete the game without losing a single life. (The official fix has been made, too, but further changes have been made in addition.) The conveyor graphics in various rooms (e.g. The Nightmare Room, The Wine Cellar, West of Kitchen) have been fixed. Colour clash that would affect bright guardians on dark blue backgrounds is not present. (This typically appears worse under emulation and on 128Ks, IIRC.) Colour clash doesn
  11. Cameron Else also did the conversion of JSW to MSX, which has very similar hardware to the Einstein. These both seem to be very faithful conversions, perhaps arguably
  12. Cameron Else also did the conversion of MM to MSX, which has very similar hardware to the Einstein. These both seem to be very faithful conversions of the Software Projects version of MM, perhaps arguably "perfect"? Unfortunately, the MSX port still suffers colour clash. I'm not sure the Spectrum versions of MM had any serious bugs, although there are a few documented engine glitches that are not of any real concern, and "Amoebatrons' Revenge" does have the funny non-conveyor, and I'm never sure if that's intentional. It'd be interesting to know if MM suffers colour clash on the Einstein. Of course, it was Cameron Else and Ross Holman who won the prize for completing JSW on the Spectrum, having to fix the game in order to complete it. Else then did the ports of MM and JSW to MSX for Software Projects, and also to the Einstein, it would seem.
