Monty Python once did a sketch about flying sheep, "labouring under the misapprehension that they're birds". Featured the classic line: "Note how they do not so much fly, as plummet."

Considering the obvious influence that Python had on Matthew Smith's work (e.g. the descending foot squashing Willy at the end of the game), it wouldn't have been unreasonable to assume that Skylambs might make an appearance...

Same with Brian Bloodaxe on the Spectrum, even down to the in game music. Strange game though that, never really got anywhere with it.

 

Maybe it is worth starting a rumour about an impossibly rare pre-production version of MM that features the skylambs? 😉

EDIT... Can't immediately think of any games with suitable 16x16 Lamb or similar sprites however there are bound to be some. Something tells me educational titles possibly if not games.
