Spider
Sinclair Programs , March 1985 . This is actually my only surviving magazine (and its only half complete) from 'back then' . Posts in some FB groups about Spectrum charts over the years made me think about this, and bear in mind MM was released in 83 and JSW in 84 , and here we are a third of the way into 85 (a long time in computing!) and both JSW and MM still feature highly in the reader charts... EDIT... Yes this is a pic from the actual magazine rather than from an archive somewhere. SymbolShift, MtM and jetsetdanny
geoff
<deity>, that brings back memories. Transylvanian Tower: verily, a mantlepiece of computer gaming. Is a JSW crossover imminent? Spider and jetsetdanny
MtM
The sad thing is we will never see their like again or experience that same joy when games came out like those on the list. Oh well. At least we can drink legally now 😉  Spider and jetsetdanny
jetsetdanny
For those of us who love JSW games, the joy never ends. Geoff, who posted in this topic just before you, graced us with "Willy does the Great Pyramid!" last year. New games *are* still being created 🙂 . Spoiler Something tells me that perhaps 2022 will not pass without a brand-new game's release...  SymbolShift and Spider 1
Spider
Indeed. I still have that 40th Edition (ZX Anniversary) to try to do something constructive with although that is very much a quick mini game.
