Jet Set Willie Posted November 29, 2024 Author Report Share Posted November 29, 2024 Can anybody help me with this "garbage sprite" problem I have described above? Here are some more guardian related problems with JSW64. In some rooms when I am adding more guardians by using the Table, it doesn´t add the amount I want but there appears to be 32 sprites then (from 0 to W) and they can´t be deleted. Guardian table selector may also show that there are now either 39 or 40 sprites (!). This has happened months ago, I am not sure, if I have those saved files anymore, as I had to just load the older version and use it to get rid of this bug. Or the amount of guardians will stay as 4, nothing happens when I try to add more by using table, thus making it impossible to make certain rooms, or at least the result is not as good as I want. I can help you with the errors encountered when using it over time I understood how to correct them. how to create animations or errors in the blocks I focus on creation, it is already very difficult to find time to do it. So I do not ask more from the editor, especially since it is complete enough to be able to produce a complete game. I worked on the memory only to correct errors, and with the help of other authors stronger than me in computer science. but it was a long time! I kept all the technical documents I looked this weekend., I have information on the memory space of the 48k version but not for the 128k version. Hervé AST Posted February 3 Report Share Posted February 3 (edited) Hello Jet Set Willie, to answer your question, I didn't find any problem adding or removing monsters. the only problems i encountered was when i transformed a game from a Z version to ] for example. or from 128k to 48k. the editor does not manage memory in the same way and this generates errors. After reading them, I think you are able to help me at least in some problems, even if you can´t help me with memory differences between 48K and 128K. 🙂 I will send you a message next, attaching one file to check. 🙂 You´ll then see what´s the problem.
