  1. I'm using 2.3.7 currently. I don't find it unstable on x64 Windows either, but your mile's may vary. Should be noted I'm not using W10 however. I did use 2.2.9 before and never really had any noted issues with that, but there are a few new features (see below in spoiler) with 23x vs 22x, although if you do not use them then it may be academic. I'd say if you're currently happy with the version you have and you've not had any issues with it then stick with it for now. 🙂 Changelog from John Elliott's JSWED page:
  2. I think all in all the idea is brilliant however there is so little time left, I suspect if anything was rushed together (assuming people -can- find some time, I know I'm very short on this at the moment) it may not be what it should. I suspect now there may be things that would be realised after release etc. If anyone has started anything, please don't stop! 😄 Read on... In an ideal world although I realise with the site having an extended Summer and Fall/Autumn holiday it was not possible it would of been ideal to start to throw ideas together for this around that time of year. Having said that although its tempting to say "put it on the back burner for now until Aug/Sept" there's no reason to not actually start something provided interest can be maintained and it could be pushed out the door in very good time for next Christmas maybe.
  3. Just bumping this (sorry) 🙂 As there are still some open slots in the " top - x players scores " if anyone is interested 😉
  4. A smaller map would be good within reason, also would cut down development time. I'm half tempted to say a the 48K standard game engine may well suffice here, it worked quite well for the previous games and last year's Woot! JSW12RM for instance (no I'm not saying this game should be 12 screens) May be best perhaps to think of Pyramid type blocks to 'build' a map ?
  5. Thank you for the submission Norman 🙂
  6. The small issue of not being able to reply to auto-generated topics aka " Download Discussions " for each submitted file has been rectified. Thanks to @IRF for pointing this out to me. 🙂
  7. Thanks for all the positive comments everyone! 🙂 The newer software does have a few changes although I'm sure (small teething problems aside) everything will be relatively smooth sailing. Should be noted the upgrade was slightly more than a regular "version upgrade" as such and there may be small issues, we have ironed most out but don't hesitate to ask or mention anything you think that "is not quite right" as such. Yes I'm aware of the missing logo 😉
