  1. Maybe we should have some side channel to contact for the case something happens with the website? I was curious what's going on, and searching for posts in facebook/twitter/etc didn't reveal anything.
  2. RoseTintedSpectrum published the level 1 of Manic Miner playing blindfolded. Anyone up for other levels? 😛
  3. I've updated the original post with answers: It turned out not as fun as the other generator, basically it's either very easy or impossible to guess. Congrats to everyone who correctly guessed some of the caverns.
  4. Here is Cavern names together the the art styles used, hopefully that will help guessing them: Central Cavern, zdzislaw beksinski The Cold Room, organic painting, sunny day, matte painting, bold shapes, hard edges, street art, trending on artstation, by huang guangjian and ail elvgren and sachin teng The Menagerie, background in the fourth dimension, psychedellic fractals, ayahausca, tryptamine, hyperdetailed illustration by irakli nadar and alexandre ferra, intricate linework, unreal engine 5 highly rendered, global illumination, radiant light, detailed and intricate environment Abandoned Uranium Workings, octane render, unreal engine, pale colors, high detail, 8 k, wide angle, trending on artstation, behance Eugene's Lair, by justin gerard and greg rutkowski, digital art, realistic painting, dnd, character design, trending on artstation Processing Plant, trending on artstation, digital art, 4 k, hyper realistic, octane render, sharp focus The Vat, by justin gerard and greg rutkowski, digital art, realistic painting, dnd, character design, trending on artstation Miner Willy meets the Kong Beast, 8 k, hdr, trending on artstation, with sunset, sunlight reflections, lighting, instagram photo Wacky Amoebatrons, white balance, hyperdimensional, 8 k, rim lighting, led, lumen global illumination, glowing, fog, ray tracing reflections The Endorian Forest, fantasy, intricate, elegant, highly detailed, digital painting, artstation, concept art, smooth, sharp focus, illustration, art by artgerm and greg rutkowski and alphonse mucha Attack of the Mutant Telephones, highly detailed, photorealistic, diffuse lighting, hdrp, artstation, unreal 5, smooth, sharp focus, art by john collier, albert aublet, krenz cushart, artem demura, alphonse mucha Return of the Alien Kong Beast, realistic shaded, fine details, 4 k realistic, cryengine, realistic shaded lighting poster by greg rutkowski, magali villeneuve, artgerm, jeremy lipkin and michael garmash and rob rey Ore Refinery, concept art, intricate detail, volumetric shadows and lighting, realistic oil painting by tim hildebrandt Skylab Landing Bay, beksinski, trending on artstation The Bank, painting by leonardo da vinci The Sixteenth Cavern, pop - art style, jacky tsai style, andy warhol style, roy lichtenstein style, acrylic on canvas The Warehouse, ultra wide angle, finer details : 3, by ian fisher and greg rutkowski, trending on artstation, concept art, smooth, sharp focus, illustration Amoebatrons' Revenge, detailed, by sandro botticelli, gaston bussiere, h. r. giger, masterpiece, sharp focus Amoebatrons' Revenge, 8 k, rim lighting, lumen global illumination, opaque, glowing, vapor Solar Power Generator, art by artgerm, wlop, loish, ilya kuvshinov, 8 k realistic, hyperdetailed, beautiful lighting, detailed background, depth of field The Final Barrier, hyperdetailed, artstation, cgsociety, 8 k Now I can see that in some cases the artstyle fluff is kind of contradicting the title... Well, next time with read it before submitting randomly matched ones.
  5. Actually, out of this list only 11, 14 and 18 are correct. 12 and 19 are something else. In general, except for a few very obvious ones (like 18), many look very hard to guess to me.
  6. Looks like an "Attack of the Mutant Telephones" neural network generated image leaked into the real world. 😛 That's an exposition in a Telecom Museum in Frankfurt-am-Main.
  7. I've generated more MM caverns using stability.ai, this time using various "artistic modes". Not sure whether it made sense, in some pictures it seemed to completely ignore the actual cavern name and just generated something in that style... But anyway, anyone up to guess which is which? (maybe also style, but it's hard!) 1. The Bank, painting by leonardo da vinci 2. Abandoned Uranium Workings, octane render, unreal engine, pale colors, high detail, 8 k, wide angle, trending on artstation, behance 3. 8. As a bonus, here is a render of miner Willy at stability.ai. (the exact text of the request was "a hyperrealistic render of miner Willy from 'Manic Miner' and 'Jet Set Willy' videogames standing on grass, by WLOP,Artgerm,Greg Rutkowski,Alphonse Mucha, Beautiful dynamic dramatic dark moody lighting, shadows, cinematic atmosphere,Artstation, concept design art,Octane render,8K" to make it more epic. 😛
  9. I've updated the topic above with the answers. Many of the caverns looked similar so it's very hard to distinguish them. Here is all the caverns together, and the "Manic Miner" himself (I don't seem to have the higher res of it):
  10. I've just got access to stability.ai beta, here is what it generates for "We Must Perform a Quirkafleeg". (sorry for stealing the thread)
  11. It was indeed the Menagerie. And now go the remaining caverns: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9.
  12. Or even better -- make a JSW remake with those images as backgrounds (and level layout adjusted accordingly).
  13. Turns out it's much harder to guess when you don't know the answers. 🙂 Also, I don't know exactly what's depicted on "]", but it looks somehow 18+, maybe it wouldn't be allowed on this forum anyway. 😛
  14. I was going to post JSW2 rooms as I actually also have them generated, but I don't object seeing the other variant of them. Actually, recently I happen not to have much time to post here, so I think what I'll do is just share files with SymbolShift and then he can post those files. All this idea of generating images with VQGAN is quickly becoming outdated, as there's this new shiny DALL-E2 which generates much cooler images. 🙂
