Hello peopleses, Those of you with long memories may recall that many years ago I informed Dr. Broad that I had been doing some sporadic work on "Willy does the Great Pyramid". What actually happened was that the game wasn't happening and had ground to a halt, and I ended up leaving it in limbo. Recently, however, thanks to - ahem - medical factors, I found myself with some Copious Free Time, and after acquiring some round tuits, I returned to the Pyramid and bashed it back into shape. This is the result. Speculation about any aspect of the game is welcomed, encouraged even. I'm not going to spell everything out beforehand, since I rather like the idea of watching you all explore it in the way we all did when JSW originally came out 🙂 Hacking is permitted, but I think to avoid spoilers it should be conducted in a separate thread. And finally: MegaTree-sized thanks to Daniel Gromann and Ian Rushforth for their invaluable help in play-testing and fixing, without which the Pyramid would be undoable. I hope you enjoy it. -
Bear in mind that JSW, in its original release, was uncompletable, so you'll need to agree on a set of fixes.

Ah, good old Transylvanian Tower! Surely a mantlepiece in Spectrum gaming history. Has it in any way influenced anyone's JSW or MM remakes, I wonder?

What is the highest anyone has scored? My best is around 1710, and I doubt it's possible to score much more.

Gosh, it's humbling to know that I hava How humbling! It's good to know I have a legacy of sorts :-) A potted history of what I've been up to since ZXWtBS: I started work on the Great Pyramid some time in 2004, but this ground to a halt before long and has been in creative limbo ever since. Every so often I think about reactivating it, but I have other Real Life things to worry about. I might, but I can't promise anything. I've also thought about further changes to Geoff Mode, but again, I need some round tuits. I haven't really kept in touch with the MM/JSW scene since then, aside from occasional searches for my JSW games to see if anyone's said anything nice about them:-) I was deeply touched to find ZXWtBS on the list of "Best JSW mods" at the Manchester Expo, and that ultimately led to me joining up here. I'll have a look at WNM when a convenient time presents itself; it sounds interesting!
