Spider
Its not actually that bad to re-do it but given we'll need a newer one soon it is probably OK 'as is' for now I guess. :) IRF

jetsetdanny
[EDIT: These may have been corrected already, I wrote my comments referring to a version which I downloaded from this page, but I can't see it here now; there were also Ian's comments which I can't see at the moment] Some suggestions for spelling corrections: ; the purple Edited May 10, 2017 by jetsetdanny Spider and Metalmickey
Metalmickey
Thanks for pointing those out Danny .. dead giveaway that i never ran it thru a spellcheck before posting! I agree it's Easter egg as Easter is an entity in itself, by the same token one would write Christmas tree, only the event is capitalised as whatever follows it is usually a noun (except Easter Sunday) or something like that... IRF
One other minor bug (not documented by SkoolKid) - the very first note of the in-game tune is missed out at the start of the game. This is now mentioned in the latest update of SkoolKid's JSW disassembly: http://skoolkit.ca/disassemblies/jet_set_willy/reference/bugs.html#missedNote Edited June 2, 2017 by IRF Spider and jetsetdanny
IRF
So you would favour Q-W for Left-Right over O-P, as I deduced? Elementary! I'll explain at a later date how I came to that conclusion. For now, I'll just point out that I think I have opened up a whole new field of study: Forensic Willy-ology! I never got round to explaining my thinking on the above - I don't have time right now but this is a reminder to myself to do it later... IRF
Maybe you're right regarding the contrast with 'Under', Danny. I agree that there's no need for a comma. Another example would be 'On a Branch Over the Security Guard'... Danny, hopefully you will now appreciate that the above wasn't merely a throwaway comment... Updated my local copies now. I see the 'keypad attr' did not appear but to be honest I would of been slightly surprised if it was included as its debatable if it is/was a bug given that as discussed at the time the lower colours need bright due to their darkness on a black background. He has added a comment in the Manic Miner Trivia section, pointing out that adding the 'missing' conveyor to Amoebatrons' Revenge makes the cavern uncompletable. (Unless you reverse the polarity of course, but sadly he hasn't provided the POKE for that.) http://skoolkit.ca/disassemblies/manic_miner/reference/facts.html#unusedConveyors Spider
Spider
Oh I'd forgotten that conveyor concern in MM :D , yes if you bring it to life it needs turning around to 'fix' it. The 'attr' I referred to was the JSW keycode. He has added a comment in the Manic Miner Trivia section, pointing out that adding the 'missing' conveyor to Amoebatrons' Revenge makes the cavern uncompletable.(Unless you reverse the polarity of course, but sadly he hasn't provided the POKE for that.)http://skoolkit.ca/disassemblies/manic_miner/reference/facts.html#unusedConveyors Assuming its been "brought back from the dead" via the pokes in the disassembly then: POKE 63087,0 / #F66F , #0 ... should turn it around. :D This should work on the Software Projects and Bug Byte versions as well as the "Ventamatic" and "MAD/Mastertronic" branded re-releases too (both of these are actually using the S.P version anyway) as the 'higher up' code is the same its only the lower bits that are a few bytes out.
