This specific position would kill the player but otherwise it's totally possible to reach the right side of the leaves. I was half debating on that screen because I could myself not get there without being killed given the cyan guardian (might be me) as well as " ] " (which I've removed as I could not be sure if he could reach it just anyway) but nothing to see in it! One is to use the term "Forbidden Hallowed Ground", which was recently discussed between Sendy and myself in this thread. By definition, this should be a place which the player cannot reach without using the Writetyper cheat or POKEing the game. The spot in the "Cuckoo's Nest" which you show is, in fact, very easy to reach: Willy only has to jump through the ramp (at the floor level) and continue walking right, then jump up vertically at the edge of the green leaves (once he is beyond the Fire cells above him). It is true that once he is in the position you have shown, he will not be able to go back safely and will have to lose a life (or all lives if he drops down to the room below). However, the concept of "Forbidden Hallowed Ground" is NOT about being unable to get out/back safely, it's about being unable to reach the given spot. So "Cuckoo's Nest" does not belong there. IRF Posted March 25, 2023 Report Share Posted March 25, 2023 (edited) Technically, that precise spot on Cuckoo's Nest is not accessible because Willy has already collided with the rightmost fire cell. (At least, his colour attributes are overlapping that fire cell, even if the is no pixel collision since his sprite in that frame of animation only occupies one character column.) I'm not sure you can say the place is 'inaccessible', though, it's just that Willy would get killed if he tried to be in that particular position/location. Which still does not make it a Forbidden Hallowed Ground, of course. IRF Posted March 26, 2023 Report Share Posted March 26, 2023 (edited) Is it physically possible to jump (from three steps back from that, on the edge of the precipice) over the two fire cells and escape down the ramp without getting hit by the rolling cuckoo egg? Edit: I can answer my own question. Willy can jump back over the two fire cells and land on the other side without hitting them. Danny is correct I suspect really as without cheating it is possible to get here - I will check this as soon as I can.
