Some comments:

The videos of "Ma jolie",Ā "Ma jolite" and "Manic Mixup" were made from RZX walkthroughs I had recorded in the past (I hard worked really hard on them back then and didn't see room for improvement).

Similarly, the old recordings ofĀ "Terry The Turtle" (Cyan - Intermediate),Ā "Terry The Turtle" (Red - Hard) andĀ "Terry The Turtle" (Vektor - Special Edition) were used, because I considered them good enough - they could be improved, but since there is no clock in the game, there is no incentive to work on the improvement, either. As forĀ "Terry The Turtle" (Yellow - Normal), a large part of it was re-recorded in order to showcase the collection of some items I had failed to collect in my initial walkthrough recorded back inĀ February 2015.

Ā My walkthroughs ofĀ "AmAZiNG WiLLY" (v. 4),Ā "WiLLY iN ThE MiRRoRVeRSE" (v. 3), "Jet Set Willy 5: ZX Heroes", "Willy Comes Home" and "Jet Set II" were presented publicly for the first time ever. I managed to complete:

v. 4 ofĀ "AmAZiNG WiLLY" atĀ 8:49 am in-game time;

v. 3 ofĀ "WiLLY iN ThE MiRRoRVeRSE" atĀ 8:53 am;

"Jet Set Willy 5: ZX Heroes" atĀ 7:57 am (7:02 am via the Secret Passage);

"Jet Set II" at 7:56 am;

"Willy Comes Home" atĀ 8:57 am.

I replayed and re-recordedĀ the following games, achieving the following respective improvements:

"Jet Set Willy: The Colossal Cave" - completion time improved fromĀ 8:32 am to 8:19 am.

"Manic Miner - Norman Sword's version" -Ā Bug-Byte version completion score improved from 38,873 pts. to 39,240 pts.,Ā Software Projects version completion score improved from 38,873 pts. to 39,250.

"Winer Milly" -Ā completion score improved from 8800 pts. to 9550 pts.

"JSW64: Dragon Jet Set Willy" -Ā completion time improved fromĀ 8:27 am to 8:18 am.

"JSW64: Dragon Manic Miner" -Ā completion time improved from 7:44 am to 7:40 am.

"A Bulgarian Requiem" -Ā completion time improved fromĀ 8:24 am to 8:18 am.

"Manic Miner: Neighbours - Allana Truman" (standard version) - completion score improved fromĀ 27,159 pts. toĀ 31,144 pts.

"Manic Miner: Neighbours - Allana Truman" (easy version) - completion score improved from 30,703 pts. toĀ 35,421 pts.

"Escape of the Snails" - completion time improved fromĀ 8:59 am to 8:47 am.

"JSW: The Sun Is No Longer Producing Heat" - the efficiency of my walkthrough has been improved, but it's difficult to quantitate it because there is no clock in the game.

All of the newly-recorded RZX files can be downloaded from the games' respective pages onĀ JSW Central.

I have just uploaded a major update to JSW Central: a new section called "JSW Central videos", which lists all the videos I’ve made from my RZX recordings and provides links to both their YouTube pages and their Internet Archive pages. The YouTube links section is complete for all 178 videos released so far, while the Internet Archive links currently cover the first 60.Ā The upload of the remaining videos is ongoing and, if all goes well, should be completed in the next couple of weeks.

Additionally, links to Internet Archive downloads have been added on the individual games' pages below the embedded YouTube videos.

A brand-new feature of this update is the possibility to download JSW Central videos from the Internet Archive—something I have introduced after much 'work behind the scenes' over the past few months. Videos can be downloaded both in their original Full HD quality and in their AI-upscaled 4K versions. These downloadable versions are the final products, often featuring slight improvements over their YouTube counterparts, such as adjusted title screens or better audio synchronization.

While the walkthroughs themselves remain identical, I strongly encourage anyone wishing to download a JSW Central video to get the final version from the Internet Archive rather than the one available on YouTube šŸ™‚.

The number of JSW Central videos available to the public has now reached 200 😁.

All of the videos are listed in the "JSW Central videos" section of JSW Central. For each video, two links are provided: one leading to YouTube, where the video was originally posted, and another leading to the Internet Archive, where the video can be downloaded in its original Full HD quality or in an AI-upscaled 4K version. These links are also available on each game's individual page, where the YouTube videos are embedded.

All videos are available for download, and the final versions are hosted on the Internet Archive. While the content of the walkthroughs remains the same as in the YouTube uploads, the downloadable versions may include minor improvements, such as adjusted title screens or better audio synchronization. Therefore, if you wish to download a JSW Central video, I strongly recommend obtaining the final version from the Internet Archive rather than from YouTube.

I hope this growing collection of videos—based on my RZX walkthroughs of the games, which are also available for download on each game's page—will serve as a valuable resource for anyone who is struggling with the game or simply wants to see how it can be completed. I also hope it will help promote Miner Willy's multiple universes to a wider audience. šŸ™‚

Today marks the fifth anniversary of the publication of the first videos—starting with walkthroughs of Manic Miner, Jet Set Willy and Jet Set Willy II—on the JSW Central YouTube channel, initially launched as a companion to my JSW Central website.

Five years after that modest beginning, the channel now showcases more than 200 videos with walkthroughs of MM and JSW games and variants. As of now, walkthroughs of *all* MM and JSW games for the ZX Spectrum released until June 2025 have been presented on the channel, as well as walkthroughs of the most visually interesting entries among what I classify as ā€œversions and minor modsā€ of the original MM and JSW.

A big thank you to everyone who has subscribed to the JSW Central YouTube channel (close to 500 people now—amazing! 😁).

As mentioned in my previous post (sorry for the repetition!) all videos are listed in the ā€œJSW Central videosā€ section of JSW Central. For each entry, two links are provided: one leading to the YouTube upload, and another to the Internet Archive, where the video can be downloaded in its original Full HD quality or in an AI-upscaled 4K version. These links are also included on each game’s individual page, where the YouTube videos are embedded.

While the content of the walkthroughs is the same as in the YouTube uploads, the downloadable versions may include minor refinements, such as adjusted title screens or improved audio synchronisation. Therefore, if you wish to download a JSW Central video, I strongly recommend obtaining the final version from the Internet Archive rather than from YouTube. You can see the whole collection at a glance here.

My plans for further development of the JSW Central YouTube channelĀ and of the Internet Archive video collection are as follows:

– presenting new MM/JSW games a few months after each release (these will, of course, be very rare, as new games don’t appear that often);

– presenting the remaining ā€œversions and minor modsā€ of the original MM and JSW (from time to time, as showcasing various nearly identical versions in a row wouldn’t be very exciting);

– presenting ZX Spectrum platform games that may be of interest to MM/JSW fans (I started with Monty on the Run, as it’s one of my non-MM/JSW favourites).

In the future, the presentations on this channel *might* also include MM/JSW and related games for platforms other than the ZX Spectrum, but I’m *not* making a firm promise at this point.

And again, to repeat what I posted very recently: I hope this growing collection of videos—based on my RZX walkthroughs, which are also available for download on each game’s page on JSW Central—will serve as a valuable resource for any fans of MM/JSW who are struggling with a game or simply want to see how it can be completed. I also hope it will help promote Miner Willy’s multiple universes to a wider audience šŸ™‚Ā .
